HP Pavilion TX 1000-Welcome

BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU REPRESENTATIVE, PLEASE VISIT WWW.HPLIES.COM

Hello, and welcome to https://hppaviliontx1000.angelfire.com/blog/!

This website has been created by a former customer of Hewlett-Packard, and is designed to inform everyone of the troubles many people are experiencing with HP, specifically the TX 1000 laptop, which is currently known as the TX 1115nr or the TX 1308nr.

(From this point on, I will refer to the aforementioned three models as TX 1000 and TX 1115nr, since that is how HP Tech support refers to them.)

Before I continue, I would like you all to know that I simply want honesty and truth. If there is anything I have written on this website you feel may not be correct, PLEASE inform me as soon as possible so we may investigate and research that issue and verify that all facts on this blog are true.

In no way do I intend to slander Hewlett-Packard. My late father, one of the first Microsoft Certified Professionals, would always applaud HP during the reign of Carly Fiorina and how superior their customer service was. *Key word: Was*

So what are the problems with this laptop? Well, I invite you to open a tab on your web browser, visit google.com, and type in "Why is my computer so hot?"

The first link that pops up is a post on Yahoo! Answers (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081129194650AAqVP6M) regarding the same model laptop. Why is it that the computer becomes so hot so quickly? Because customers are leaving the computer's power settings on "Balanced," causing the computer to over heat and shut down. Therefore, we must either customize our settings to one that differs from what HP prefers us to use, or simply choose "Power Saver." And if someone could please correct me if I am wrong, I think "balanced" is considered an HP recommended setting.

So besides over heating, what are the other problems with the TX1000 / TX1115nr? The primary issue is the HP Wireless Assistant. Please visit the following websites to witness the number of people sharing this specific issue:

These are just a few of the many websites I have found. Search "tx1000 wireless" and many many hits will appear.

After the HP Wireless Assistant issue, I have also experienced many crashes. From watching a movie or writing a paper, I will immediately receive a blue screen filled with writing and calculations, and every time I try to read it to figure out what is going on, the screen disappears and the computer shuts off.

I have also had issues when booting up the computer where a screen will notify me that a piece of hardware was improperly removed..when I never even had any external hardware plugged in in the first place.

Along with all this, my speakers began to blare a very high and loud frequency even when no audio would play.

The Synaptics device (the mouse pad for the finger) constantly has failures with the scrolling device and requires one to reboot the computer.

If you would like to read an archive of all the e-mails I have sent and received from HP Tech Support, e-mail me at andycn36@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to supply that information.

I will be posting a survey regarding the issues at hand to see how your experience has been. Until then, please leave comments sharing everything, in detail, you have face with these models.
